Privacy Policy

Last updated 2 June 2026 · What we collect, why, and your rights.

Short version: we collect what we need to run Struth for you, we don't sell your data, and you can take it with you whenever you like. The detail's below.

1. What we collect

The stuff you'd expect: your name, email and phone when you sign up; the customers, jobs and invoices you create; and basic usage data (which features you use, errors that happen) so we can make it better. Payment card details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store them.

2. How we use it

To run the service: send your invoices, sync your accounts, take your payments, answer your calls. To support you when you ask. And to fix bugs and improve the product. That's it. We don't use your data to train models you didn't ask for, and we don't sell it. Ever.

3. Who we share it with

Only the tools that make Struth work, and only what they need: Stripe (payments), Xero / MYOB (accounting sync, when you connect them), and our messaging and hosting providers. Each is bound to handle your data properly. We never hand it to advertisers.

4. Where it's stored

On Australian infrastructure, under Australian privacy law (the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles). Encrypted in transit and at rest. Backed up daily.

5. Your rights

You can see what we hold, correct it, export it, or ask us to delete it. Export your customers, jobs and invoices yourself any time from your account. Want it all gone? Email us and we'll sort it.

6. Cookies

We use the basics: to keep you logged in and to understand how the site's used. No creepy cross-site ad tracking.

7. Talk to us

Privacy questions, or want your data handled differently? Email hello@struth.app. A human answers, in plain Australian.

This is a plain-English summary. If you need the formal policy for your records, just ask.
